October 2014 Board Breaking Workshop
Twice each session our Lake Orion school offers Board Breaking workshops for our students. Students have opportunities to practice Board Breaking to demonstrate and improve on the techniques they learn in class. Red Belt students are required to complete Board Breaking requirements in order to test and intermediate and advanced students may compete in Board Breaking competition at our biannual tournaments.
October 2014 Sparring Workshop
Throughout our training sessions A.M.A.A. students use Sparring practice to develop the motions they have learned. Doing so allows them to improve the timing, speed and focus of their techniques. Besides using Sparring as a means of self-defense practice students can also compete in Point Sparring at our biannual tournaments.
